Position Summary:
The Cultural Division, Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Washington D.C. office is recruiting a Secretary to join our highly respected Organization. A Secretary is responsible for providing administrative and office support in order to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must have administrative and office support experience of 2 years and above.
• Good working knowledge of common office procedures and office management.
• Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
• Must have the ability to function and perform day-to-day administrative tasks in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-cultural environment.
• Must have the capability to organize, plan and prioritize work.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, teamwork, critical thinking and presentation skills.
• Must demonstrate ability to interact with students, co-workers, and other constituents.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Advance knowledge of computer software.

Position Summary:
The Cultural Division, Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Washington D.C. office is recruiting an Arabic Secretary to join our highly respected Organization. Arabic Secretary is responsible for writing and translating documents and correspondence from English/Arabic and vice versa.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of related experience.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must be a native Arabic speaker who has extensive experience in doing translation/writing from English to Arabic and vice versa and have experience in translating/writing correspondence.
• Experience in typing wide range of reports and other correspondence from English to Arabic and vice versa.
• Good typing skills in English and Arabic.
• Good English and Arabic written and oral communication skills.
• Must have administrative and office support experience of 2 years and above.
• Good working knowledge of common office procedures and office management.

Position Summary:
The Cultural Division, Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Washington D.C. office is recruiting an Academic Advisor. The Academic Advisor is responsible for all aspects of administering Kuwait Government scholarship programs including but not limited to providing academic advisement and counseling for a number of Kuwaiti sponsored students attending Universities in the Unites States and Canada.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years and above of related experience; or
Master's degree and 2-5 years and above of related experience.
Educational Degree major in Education, Counseling, International Education or related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in educational institution.
• Previous experience in advising college and/or university international students.
• Awareness of multi-cultural settings.

Minimum Requirements:
• Must have 2-5 years and above professional experience.
• Must have up-to-date knowledge of U.S. Higher Education, Immigration rules pertaining to international students/scholars.
• Must have the ability to function and perform day-to-day academic advising task in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-cultural environment.
• Position requires strong organizational communication skills.
• Computer literacy including skills with Internet research tools and social media.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, teamwork, critical thinking and presentation skills.
